Film Process Timer 2.3

This application serves as a film developing timer with an emphasis on a darkroom color scheme that predominantly features red hues, designed to facilitate use in low-light environments.

The software allows users to create multiple timers with configurable multi-step sequences. These timers can be organized into categories or types, duplicated for convenience, and set to display notifications on the Home Screen—contingent upon notification permissions. Additionally, timers can be marked as favorites for quick access.

In the free version, several predefined timers are provided; however, these are fixed and cannot be modified by the user.

Steps within each timer can extend up to 24 hours. The interface supports easy reordering of steps via drag-and-drop functionality, duplication of individual steps, and options to run steps automatically or manually—note that the first step requires manual initiation. Users can also configure periodic sound alerts during step execution.

When a timer is active, the display shows comprehensive information, including the current step details, remaining time for that step, upcoming step information, overall progress, total remaining time for the process, and an option to select the darkroom color mode.

Customizable user options include toggling between light and dark modes, enabling or disabling the darkroom color scheme, managing sound settings (off, essential sounds only, or all sounds), changing the timer’s color scheme, and controlling the visibility of predefined timers.

For users operating multiple devices, synchronization of timer configurations is facilitated via iCloud integration—if available on the device.

The free version permits adding a single timer with up to 5 steps, alongside access to some predefined timers and a limited selection of color schemes. Upgrading to the paid version removes these restrictions, allowing an unlimited number of timers with up to 50 steps each, additional predefined options, and an expanded array of color schemes.
